First & Second AGM of Sunita Trust Foundation Held

January 8.2022: First and second annual general assembly of Sunita Trust Foundation was held in Ghorahi-15 on January 8, 2021.
Presenting the progress report of Sunita Trust Foundation of the last year, chairperson Aasmani Chaudhary said that the foundation established in the memory of the late Sunita Chaudhary has already distributed educational scholarships to more than 43 poor students of at least 6 public schools.
She also narrated that the foundation in the future will extend its areas of working by providing scholarships to girls of SEE or +2level class students according to the need of the situation. The chief guest of the occasion, Narayan Bibas speaking during the same program said it gives peace of mind in helping someone who is really in need of support. He further said that Sunita Trust Foundation will further support poor children with educational materials and scholarships in the future.
Similarly, the founding advisor of Rural Women Development Shogat Bir Chaudhary also said that Sunita’s contribution can not be forgotten.
Likewise, the life member of the foundation, Rajani Shrestha while speaking and remembering the contributions of Sunita said that she felt very proud to be part of this foundation by being a life member. She also assured that if given chance, she and her husband will be sponsoring at least 100 sanitary pads to schools where girls of mensurating age are facing the difficulty of attending school classes.
Thaman Chaudhary, the president of Dang Red Cross Society, while speaking on the occasion said that his red cross society in collaboration with the Sunita foundation management team will be able to distribute clothes to the poor students in schools in the future.
As many as 40 participants were present on the occasion while, life members such as Nep Bahadur Chaudhary, Jhip Shira, Santulli Chaudhary, and HB Thapa also spoke on the occasion. The program was hosted by Basanta Pun and welcomed by Parbati Basnet.
