सेनेटरी प्याड बितरण कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न

March 28,2022: स्वास्थ्यको सुरक्षा सेनेटरी प्याडले गर्छ महिलाहरुको रक्षा ̎भन्ने मुल मन्त्रका साथ मिति २०७८ चैत्र १४ गते सोमबारको दिन घोराही उपमहानगरपालिका ४ डाँडागाउँ स्थित राजधानी टोलमा करिब ३ दर्जन महिला तथा किसोरीहरुलाई प्रजनन स्वास्थ्यमा सुधार ल्याउने र सचेतना फैलाउने उद्देश्यले निशुल्क रुपमा सेनेटरी प्याड बितरण गरिएको छ ।
सुनिता ट्रष्ट फाउण्डेसनका संस्थापक अध्यक्ष श्री आसमानी चौधरी ज्यू को सभाअध्यक्षता तथा ट्रष्टकी आजीबन सदस्य तथा समाजसेवी श्री रजनी श्रेष्ठको प्रमुख आतिथ्यतामा कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न भएको हो ।
कार्यक्रममा उपस्थित महिला तथा किसोरीहरुलाई प्याड बितरण गर्दै प्रमुख अतिथि रजनी श्रेष्ठले हाम्रो ब्यक्तिगत स्वास्थ्य संगै सरसफाइ पनि जोडीएको हुँदा त्यसलाई ध्यान दिन सक्यौ भने मात्र हामी महिलाहरुको प्रजनन स्वास्थ्य राम्रो हुने बताउनु भयो ।हामीहरु मासिक श्राब भएको बेला कुनै समस्या हुँदासम्म पनि रोग लुकाएर बस्ने,पुराना फोहोर कपडाहरु प्रयोग गर्ने गरेकाले हामीले हाम्रो प्रजनन स्वास्थ्यलाई स्वस्थ राख्नको लागी आफ्नो आनीबानीमा पनि परिबर्तन गर्नुपर्ने बताउनुभयो ।
यसैगरि कार्यक्रममा बोल्दै ग्रामीण महिला उत्थान केन्द दाङका संस्थापक अध्यक्ष तथा सुनिता ट्रष्ट फाउण्डेसनका अध्यक्ष आसमानी चौधरीले हामी महिलाहरु स्वस्थ भयौ भने मात्र आर्थिक रुपमा अगाडी बढ्न सक्ने र महिनावारी भएको बेलामा सानो सानो कुरामा पनि ध्यान दिएनौ भने भोलि गएर यसले भयानक रुप लिनेछ भन्दै महिलाहरुले घरकै प्याड प्रयोग गरेपनि सरसफाइमा विशेष ध्यान दिनुपर्ने बताउनुभयो । आगामी दिनहरुमा महिलाहरुको प्रजनन स्वास्थ्य सम्बन्धि सचेतना फैलाउने र यस्ता कामहरुलाई अगाडी बढाउदै लैजाने कुरा पनि बताउनु भयो ।
कार्यक्रममा बोल्दै ग्रामीण महिला उत्थान का पदाधिकारी मिरा चौधरी,राजधानी टोलका टोल अध्यक्ष बुझौना चौधरी,अर्की सदस्य सिता चौधरीले पनि आफ्ना महत्वपूर्ण भनाइ राख्नुभएको थियो।
ग्रामीण महिला उत्थान केन्द«का सुचना अधिकारी पार्बती बस्नेतको स्वागत मन्तब्यबाट सुरु भएको कार्यक्रमको सहजीकरण सुनिता ट्रष्ट फाउण्डेसनको कार्यक्रम सहजकर्ता कमला शर्माले गर्नुभएको थियो ।
Sanitary pad distribution program completed
March 28, 2022: Sanitary pads are distributed free of cost to about 3 dozen women and adolescents in Rajdhani Tol, Ghorahi Sub-metropolitan City, 4 Dandagaun on Monday, March 28,202 with the motto of protecting women’s reproductive health.
The program was presided over by Mr. Asmani Chaudhary the, Founder Chairman of Sunita Trust Foundation and hosted by chief guest Mrs. Rajni Shrestha, the Life Member of the foundation and Social Worker.
Distributing the pads to the women and adolescents present at the event, Chief Guest Rajni Shrestha said that hygiene is also linked with our personal health. "Because we use clothes, we need to change our habits to keep our reproductive health healthy," she said.
Speaking on the occasion, Aasmani Chaudhari, the Founder President of Rural Women's Development Center-RWD and President of Sunita Trust Foundation, said, "We women can move forward financially only if we are healthy and if we do not pay attention to even the smallest thing during menstruation,". She said that special attention should be paid to sanitation during the menstrual cycle.
Speaking on the occasion, Mira Chaudhary,the board member of RWDC, Bujhauna Chaudhary, the Chairperson of Rajdhani toll and another member Sita Chaudhary also spoke on the occasion. The program was facilitated by Kamala Sharma.
